Bearded America is a documentary project that features portraits and still-life photographs, highlighting the culture and community of the Bearded Villains, a social club for men who share a love for beards. The project aims to tell the story of these men who have bonded over their shared passion for facial hair and how social media has brought them together from all over the world. The focus of this project is to visually capture the essence of their brotherhood and help people understand the idea of a bearded community.
This series is composed of images captured from 2015 - 2023.
