While outsiders may attempt to interpret the significance of someone's tattoos, understanding the true meaning requires insight into the individual's motivations for choosing that particular form of self-expression. This project is a documentary photography series that focuses on individuals whose tattoos hold profound personal meaning, shaping their identity and social interactions. Through this series, these individuals share the stories behind their tattoos, shedding light on why and how these images have become an integral part of their lives.
